The self-proclaimed Wing Chun champion is eliminated by the kick-boxer in 74 seconds

Ding Hao was humiliated by kick-boxer ‘Tiger’ in a crowded arena in China

A self-proclaimed master of Chinese martial arts who wants to prove that the traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu is not just useless and classy moves were eliminated by the kick-boxer during 74 seconds.

Ding Hao, who claims to be a descendant of Master Wing Chun Ip Man, was beaten in front of a live audience full of arenas in the Chinese city of Jiangmen.

The 29-year-old was beaten to the ground in the first round, which led spectators to wonder if he really knew Wing Chun, let alone a champion.

Yu Changhua, Master Ding (left), claimed that Ding had lost the fight due to lack of experience in live combat. His opponent Tiger (right) agreed, adding that he has respect for kung fu

Their match was part of the Chongwu Hero World Kick-boxing City Tour.

Prior to the duel, Ding said his goal was to demonstrate his skills in real combat with Wing Chun Kung Fu.

He also claims to be a descendant of the fourth generation of Ip Man, the head teacher of Wing Chun and a mentor to the late Hollywood star Bruce Lee.

Ding had to start defending himself as soon as the game started.

He was kicked twice in the chest and took several heavy blows from Tiger in less than 20 seconds.

Tiger then grabbed Ding’s head and knelt repeatedly.

Although Ding tried several times to attack Tiger, he was hit in the leg by Tiger’s aides again and again.

The fight ended quickly when Ding was knocked to the ground by a flying kick from Tiger and failed to rise.

This is Ding’s second shameful defeat in less than two years.

In March last year, he was defeated by MMA fighter and coach Xu Xiaodong, who beat him to the ground six times in a live three-round match.

Many Chinese users have identified Ding as a “fraud master” on Weibo-like Twitter and accused him of lying about his Wing Chun qualification.

One user known as “Naflllla” said, “What the hell is this Wing Chun? Do you think I didn’t see the movie? ”

Another user known as “Musterliu” claimed that Ding’s kung fu was “nothing but flower strokes and fancy footwork.”

A third user known as ‘Feng Fei Ying Hua’ wrote, ‘It’s a fake Wing Chun.’

Ding was eliminated due to lack of experience in boxing ring, said his master Yu Changhua, who also serves as his publicist.

“We, traditional kung fu, normally fight on a wooden floor or cement that doesn’t bounce. We rarely fight in the ring, “said Yu.

“It’s possible that when he moved that night, he couldn’t get used to it and was a little nervous,” said Yu, who owns the Wing Chun Center in Nanchang.

“He was not relaxed and did not show his normal abilities,” he explained.

He added: “Ding Hao is a top fighter in our center and has been practicing kung fu for more than 10 years.

“He won’t be frustrated by losing a single match.” Instead, he will think about the reasons for the failure and prepare even better for future games. “

For Ding (pictured), this is the second shameful defeat in less than two years. In March last year, he was beaten in a live match by MMA fighter and coach Xu Xiaodong

Tiger winner Tiger said he respects traditional kung fu.

“After all, it has more than 5,000 years of history in China,” Tiger said.

He also defended Ding and called him a master and a true kung fu fighter.

He said: “I spent more than a month preparing to fight. It was a challenge for me too.

“Before the match, I believed I would win. But once the game started and I came in contact with Master Wing Chun Ding, I felt how strong he was. “

The kick-boxer said Ding could have won if he had more experience in live combat.
