Except Van Gogh Austin, TX

Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit “Beyond Van Gogh” on the Circuit of the Americans in Austin, TX. it is an immersive experience of his work and art, everything comes to life all around you. And when I say that all around you is art on the walls, on the floor, on the ceiling, just all around you, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to try some amazing art.

Now we all know Vincent Van Gogh’s famous painting Starry Night, but Beyond Van Gogh goes deeper into Van Gogh’s thoughts, experiences, family and life history to delve deep into what inspired his work. I would like to visit this experience when I studied art history at university.

The Beyond Van Gogh exhibition is taking place from now until September 5 in Austin, Texas on the Circuit of the Americans Track at 9201 Circuit of the Americas Blvd, Austin, TX 78617. Book your tickets online at https://vangoghastin.com/. You have time to choose and you can book what best suits your schedule, and because it’s a timed entry, it’s a great way to socialize and stay calm, not be crowded.

Although I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience, there are a few things to consider. This experience requires a little quiet reading to understand its life, history and inspirations; so if you are considering taking a little one who can’t read yet, you will have to read and explain to him what they are looking at. We left the little ones with my grandmother for me and my wife and enjoyed a much-needed date before the school bustle. Older children who are interested in history, culture and art will love it! And I, a MUCH older child, liked it. It was so great to see the art come to life and being able to walk around the art was so amazing to see.

Here’s a quick overview of what to expect.

If you end up going to Beyond Van Gogh, let me know what you think.

Stay safe for now!
