Alyssa and Hunter said “I” in a modern rustic wedding straight from the dream and we can’t get enough of it! The couple first met in high school, where they began dating before studying at Texas Tech University. Now, in its pink-and-gold accent affair, Brides of Houston dealer Brandon & Lindsay Lutz Photography was sure to capture all the sweet, floral-filled angles of the day without missing any details! Majestic invitations on tops of full pastel flowers created for beautiful close-ups looking at Alyssin’s strapless dress from I’m dreaming – a bridal boutique hanging on its personalized hanger will almost bring us to tears – I’m just waiting for the soon-to-be Mrs. Nurdin to step into it. She added a beautiful veil, a pearl necklace from her great-grandmother, and she was finally ready for the wedding! The bride says that one of her favorite parts of the day was her first contact with Hunter, where they also exchanged vows. As soon as their hands touched, she said she immediately felt at peace.
“Hunter and I always say that when we’re around or just touching hands, it’s like home base,” says Alyssa. The two talked for a minute, and then Hunter’s father prayed for them before the ceremony began. “My Uncle Tegan accompanied me down the aisle and I will never forget how Hunter looked at me.” I was the happiest girl in the world who came down to him, and I knew he felt the same way. My mom eventually took it over and gave it to him. The ceremony was all I hoped it would be. ”
A dear family friend acted for them and declared both husbands and wives when they came out to cheer (and even a few happy tears) from all sides. Mr. and Mrs. Nurdin entered a modern rustic wedding reception where they ate, drank and danced all night with the support of all their favorite people. Then, just before their spectacular departure, the two could return to the, oh-so-romantic private the last dance, where they were able to slow down and immerse themselves in the day that had just unfolded before them. We love the way their big day went and the modern rustic wedding design that suited them! Read a note from the bride about her favorite wedding memory. Cheers Nurdins!
From the bride: “(My favorite wedding memory was) walking down the aisle to Hunter. I always made fun of him that if he didn’t cry, I would turn around and go down again. Because of the tears he immediately had, I didn’t have to – then I started crying! It was just a strange and unbelievable moment, because I was so excited to marry him. As I walked down the aisle, I thought, ‘This man is actually my husband now!’ We dated for almost 8 years – I thought I would be his girlfriend forever! “
