World Gymnastics Championships 2021: Event Final Day 1 – Live Blog

OOlympic gold medalists Rebeca Andrade (BRA) and Angelina Melnikova (RUS) lead the first day of the finals at the World Gymnastics Championships in 2021.

Stephen Nedoroscik from the USA and Alec Yoder will face the horse in the finals after finishing second and third.

He will decide the world champions on the men’s floor, in the women’s vault, on horseback, on uneven poles and in the ring.

It was soon announced on Saturday that the 2021 world all-around champion Zhang Boheng (rings) and silver medalist Hashimoto Daiki (floor and warheads) both withdrew from today’s equipment final. In their place will compete Kaya Kazuma (JPN) on the floor, Harutyun Merdinyan (ARM) on horseback and Marco Lodadio (ITA) on circles.
